Reaching Out Touching Lives was founded by Darlene Scott years ago when she was touched by the Spirit of the Lord to make a difference thereby prompting her to DO SOMETHING! Darlene observed the immediate needs of cancer and heart disease patients were not being met because typically all monies raised were and continue to be applied toward the research of these diseases.

For over 15 years, with her mother by her side, Darlene continued to raise money to meet the needs of others. IN 2008, tragedy hit home when Darlene’s mother passed away from cancer which left her to figure out how to push forward. After a sabbatical and much prayer, Darlene started Women of Transformation to help transform and make a difference in the lives of other women; however, she wanted to do more.

Darlene continued in her pursuit to seek God for what can she do more and expand the vision he had given her. The answer came and she decided to begin to reach and touch lives through the ministry of helping those that are experiencing the absence of a place to call home. Through much prayer, growth and obedience, she begin not only help women, but men and children. This began the founding of Ministry of Transformation through a myriad of programs offered. It is her prayer to offer not a HANDOUT but HAND UP offer HOPE to all that the ministry serves.
